BlogForLife - HAPPINESS IN LIFE
Life has different faces, either good or bad. Someone gets the good one while someone gets the other one.
It's about previous day incidence, I was called by my friend, he said me to come we will go to Sangam alongwith one more friend. We were waiting for him, before he said that he have a small work. He took us to a place living along the sides of railway track in the mud houses. It was a slum area. We were greeted warmly as we entered. It was a small room with some 30-35 students of different ages.
It is very hard these days to educate students in a private school and the education in govt. schools is declining day by day. I was shocked to see those students. They looked educated. We were introduced to them and all other teachers.
It was founded by a college student who once saw them begging at traffic and bullied by those people. They didn't have proper clothes in that cold and house. His name was Abhi, I asked him when did you have this thought of educating and doing something from them.
He said that he saw those children living like animals so is there anything that makes us different from the animals? Yes. It's our ability to fulfill our needs, our knowledge. He went to his friends and discussed about this with his friends. and they got agreed to educate them free of cost and do whatever they are able to. They named their NGO , "SHIKSHA-EK SHURUAAT". They go after their classes to teach those students for some hours. Now they are also attached to another NGO which provides them help regarding clothes and food. They provide their little time in their busy schedule for those students. They are now also visited by some professors of the university.
The result is that those students are going to government school and they are learning, they are moving to their future, they are rising. And I think it's a great achievement for Abhi and his co-mates.
The most inspirational thing he told me that he is motivated more towards his work when he watches a 65 year old lady came to him and asked to learn. She daily comes and she is learning to read and write. He is motivated when he watches her.
His small step towards those students took a big change and even our small step can contribute to a huge change to the education.
And if even a small student among those children will achieve something, he will let change the future of other and the upcoming children too from his area. It will be a big achievement for Abhi. Girls are also learning, getting supported by them. And I was happy to be the part of them even for a small time. We ate together, distributed the clothes and enjoyed a lot. The children seemed happy and that smile was precious. Happiness spending the time with the people like Abhi and all other people is worth than enjoying in any other thing.
"It depends upon you that how and where do you search your happiness among which people. If you give your part of life for others , then it's a happy living or else if you are living only for yourself, then it's not living in my point of view."
Thank you....
